Kavika Oy and ski jumper JULIA KYKKÄNEN starts co-operation

The pioneer of the Finnish women’s ski jumper is the 24-year-old Julia Kykkänen from Lahti. She won the first women’s SM medal in 2011 and was ranked the same year 14th in the first women´s World Cup race.

This winter she is about to go round the World Cup and the main goal is the Seefeld World Championships in February 2019. Julia´s coach is Toni Nieminen, the multiple world champion and also in the coaching team Heli Pomell and Kimmo Kykkänen.

Kavika Oy and Julia Kykkänen have signed a co-operation agreement for the period 2018-2019. The company wants to support Julia in her goals and to contribute to the appreciation of the women’s ski jumping.

Kavika invests heavily in internationalization and wants to be involved in the promotion of people’s well-being throughout their lives through their products.

During the training and competition season, Julia regularly updates her articles on the Kavika website.


Kavika delivered demanding stainless steel solutions to New Children’s Hospital in Helsinki, Finland

Kavika Oy has provided all the basic stainless steel furniture in the New Children’s Hospital opened in September 2018: tables, cabinets, shelves, slope sinks and skirting boards. The contract also included demanding tailored products such as operating room pass-through cabinets and the fume cupboards.
